Measures coating thickness on magnetic and non-magnetic metals up to 2000 µm with F/NF probes, continuous mode for curved surfaces, and USB, RS-232 or Bluetooth data output
The LANDTEK CM-1210A measures coating thickness on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals using magnetic induction and eddy current methods. It suits electricians and inspectors who need to verify paint, galvanising or anodising layers on steel, aluminium or copper surfaces. The dual-probe design covers both substrate types in a single instrument.
Readings span 0 to 2000 micrometres. Single mode suits spot checks while continuous mode helps track thickness on curved or small parts. The gauge stores calibration values automatically and recognises the substrate without manual selection. Data leaves the device through USB or RS-232, and a Bluetooth option is available for wireless transfer.
Confirm that the F and N probes supplied match the coating and substrate materials you test. Ensure your PC or logger has a free USB or RS-232 port, or that the Bluetooth option is fitted if you need wireless output. The instrument ships in a red box as a single pack with a three-year parts and one-year labour warranty.

Use the F probe for non-magnetic coatings on magnetic substrates like steel, and the N probe for non-conductive coatings on non-magnetic metals such as aluminium.
You can read coating thicknesses from zero up to 2000 micrometres in a single pass, covering most paint, galvanising and powder-coat layers.
Connect the USB or RS-232 port, or pair the optional Bluetooth module, then transfer stored values directly to your computer.
