Measures coating thickness up to 2000 µm using magnetic induction and eddy current, stores 99 data groups, and offers USB, RS-232 or Bluetooth output
The LANDTEK CM1210B is a coating thickness gauge that combines magnetic induction and eddy current methods in one instrument. It measures non-magnetic coatings on ferrous substrates and non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous metals up to 2000 µm. Data can be stored in 99 groups and transferred via USB, RS-232 or Bluetooth.
This meter suits quality inspectors and maintenance teams who need to verify coating thickness on both steel and aluminium substrates without changing instruments. It is not for buyers who require a dedicated high-precision laboratory gauge or a model that logs more than 99 reading groups.
The single specification that decides fit is the dual-probe F/N measurement range of 0 to 2000 µm. If your work demands simultaneous magnetic induction and eddy current capability within this range, the CM1210B matches the requirement; if you only measure one substrate type, a single-probe unit may be more economical.

The meter supports both magnetic induction (F) and eddy current (N) methods with separate probes available; the standard pack contains one unit, so additional probe types are bought separately.
Select the F probe for non-magnetic coatings on magnetic substrates such as steel, and the N probe for non-conductive coatings on non-magnetic metals like aluminium or copper.
It covers the full thickness of typical automotive paint systems — primer, base coat and clear coat — so a single reading confirms the total dry-film thickness without switching ranges.
