Measures metal hardness with Leeb impact method, stores 50 test groups, and offers USB or RS-232 data output
The LANDTEK HM-6580 is a palm-sized digital Leeb hardness tester designed for electricians and maintenance teams who need to verify metal hardness on site. It fits into tight spaces and operates at any angle, including upside down, making it practical for inspecting mold cavities, bearings and production-line parts.
The red handheld unit displays results directly in HRB, HRC, HV, HB, HS and HL scales without conversion tables. It stores up to 50 groups of readings, each capturing the measured value, impact direction, material and hardness scale. User recalibration is supported, and the device offers manual or automatic shutdown with low-battery indication.
Data can be transferred to a PC via USB or RS-232, and a Bluetooth output option is also available. The tester is limited to metallic workpieces and Leeb-method measurement, so it cannot assess non-metallic materials or provide alternative hardness-testing methodologies.
Measured against everything we stock in Electrical Trade Tools & Kits, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.
