Measures surface roughness from 0.05 to 10 µm Ra and up to 100 µm Rz with ISO, DIN, ANSI and JIS compatibility, USB, RS-232 and Bluetooth output, and a rechargeable battery
The LANDTEK SRT-6200 measures surface roughness across a range of 0.05 to 10 micrometres Ra and up to 100 micrometres Rz. It is designed for technicians and quality control staff who need to verify the finish of machined parts directly on the production floor. The instrument supports ISO, DIN, ANSI and JIS standards for broad industrial compatibility.
A built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery and control circuit provide power for extended measurement sessions without a mains connection. The tester can be set to shut down automatically after a period of inactivity or turned off manually to conserve charge. Data collected during long runs can be streamed to a PC via USB or RS-232, and a Bluetooth output option is also available.
The device uses a sophisticated inductance sensor with a sharp probe that slides across the surface, generating an analogue signal proportional to roughness. A dedicated DSP processes this signal and displays results on the LCD with no audible fan or active cooling required. Its compact, lightweight construction keeps power consumption low and ensures quiet operation during normal use.

The tester uses a built-in lithium ion rechargeable battery and an inductance sensor with no moving cooling parts, so it runs silently and stays cool during all-day measurement sessions.
The unit ships with its own rechargeable battery and control circuit; for data transfer you need a PC with a free USB port or RS-232 interface, or you can use the Bluetooth output option.
Yes, the tester provides an RS-232 data output alongside USB, so it will communicate directly with legacy serial ports without an adapter.
