Measures machinery vibration from 10 Hz to 10 kHz with ISO 2954 compliance, accelerometer accuracy, bearing monitoring, and USB, RS-232 or Bluetooth data output
The LANDTEK VM-6360 is a digital vibration meter designed for electricians and maintenance technicians who need to assess rotating machinery. It measures periodic motion to identify imbalance, misalignment and bearing defects in equipment. The instrument supports predictive maintenance and quality control programmes on site. Conformance with ISO 2954 ensures the readings are suitable for periodic condition monitoring.
The handheld meter operates on battery power during normal use, producing no audible noise and negligible heat. Its low current draw allows extended measurement sessions without frequent battery changes. There are no fans or moving parts inside the unit, so the device runs silently while attached to machinery. Power consumption remains minimal across the 10Hz to 10kHz acceleration range.
A USB and RS-232 interface lets you transfer recorded data to a PC for analysis and reporting. An optional Bluetooth module provides a wireless alternative for the same data output. Headphones can be connected to use the meter as an electronic stethoscope for bearing diagnostics. The supplier includes a three-year parts and one-year labour warranty with each unit.

Mount the supplied accelerometer firmly on the machine housing using the magnetic base or stud, then select the 10 Hz to 10 kHz acceleration range; the step often missed is verifying the sensor coupling before logging data.
The unit carries a three-year parts and one-year labour cover; plan to recalibrate the accelerometer annually and replace the 9 V battery when the low-power indicator appears.
Continuous logging over USB or RS-232 will fill the internal buffer first, so offload data to a PC regularly to avoid measurement gaps.
