Adds three USB 3.0 Type A and two USB 3.0 Type C ports plus a 19-pin and 20-pin internal header, delivering up to 5 Gbps speeds with Windows XP through 10 support
This PCI Express add-in card adds three USB 3.0 Type-A ports and two USB 3.0 Type-C ports to a desktop computer. It also provides a 19-pin internal header and a 20-pin internal header for front-panel connections. A 15-pin SATA power connector supplies the necessary current for all ports.
SuperSpeed USB 3.0 supports transfer rates up to 5Gbps, though actual speed depends on the connected device. The card is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 peripherals. Drivers are included on CD for Windows XP, Vista and 7 (32-bit and 64-bit), while Windows 8 and 10 have built-in support.
The card requires Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 10 for driver support. Systems running other operating systems cannot use this expansion card without third-party drivers. Buyers using Linux, macOS or newer Windows versions should verify compatibility before purchase.

This single card includes both a 19-pin header for two extra Type A ports and a 20-pin header for additional front-panel connectivity, so you can use whichever header your case provides.
SuperSpeed USB 3.0 supports up to 5Gbps, but the actual throughput will be limited by the connected device and the PCI Express lane configuration of your motherboard.
The card connects via a standard PCI Express slot and provides USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Type C ports; the USB 3.1 label on the Type C ports does not raise the 5Gbps signalling limit of the controller.
