PCIe x1 M.2 SATA adapter

This Lanfan adapter adds an M.2 B-key SATA slot and a SATA III port through a single PCIe x1 lane. It fits standard-profile brackets and uses the ASM1061 chipset to manage both connections simultaneously. The card accepts M.2 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 SATA modules only.

Build integration

The board plugs into any PCIe x1, x2, x4, x8 or x16 slot and requires no extra power cables beyond the slot itself. It frees internal SATA headers for other drives while letting you run an M.2 SATA SSD and a 2.5-inch drive or optical unit at the same time. Hot-swap support lets you change drives without shutting down the system.

Bundled bracket and software impact

A standard-profile bracket is included so the card secures cleanly in full-height chassis. The ASM1061 controller provides native NCQ and SATA I, II, III compatibility across Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP, Server 2003, 2008 and Linux without proprietary drivers. NVMe M.2 SSDs are not supported.
