Black toner refill kit for HP 641A cartridges

This Laser Tek Services kit refills the HP C9720A 641A black cartridge used in Color LaserJet 4600, 4600dn and 4650dn printers. It includes toner powder, a reset chip and step-by-step instructions for a straightforward refill at home or in the office. The product is sold new as a single pack.

Consistent output over repeated refills

Each cartridge can be refilled up to three times while maintaining sharp, consistent print quality at the standard five percent coverage rating. The included reset chip allows the printer to recognise the replenished cartridge and continue tracking toner levels normally. This reduces waste and ongoing cost for high-volume environments.

Chip compatibility decides fit

The reset chip is engineered specifically for the HP C9720A 641A cartridge series; without it the printer will not accept the refilled unit. Buyers using other HP toner models or third-party cartridges without this chip interface cannot use this kit.

Questions about this item

How much toner does the 641A black refill kit supply for continuous daily printing?

The kit refills a C9720A cartridge at the standard 5 % coverage yield, letting you reuse the same cartridge up to three times before replacement.

Which printer parts must I already have to use this Laser Tek Services refill kit?

You need an empty HP C9720A 641A cartridge shell and a compatible Color LaserJet 4600, 4600dn or 4650dn printer to accept the refilled unit.

Will the reset chip in this kit work with the firmware on my older 4600dn?

Yes, the included reset chip is engineered for the C9720A cartridge used in the 4600, 4600dn and 4650dn models, so the printer recognises the refilled cartridge normally.
