Black toner refill kit for HP 11A Q6511A

This refill kit supplies black toner powder compatible with HP LaserJet 2400, 2410, 2420 and 2430 series printers. It is intended for offices and home users who want to reuse their existing Q6511A cartridges instead of buying new ones. The single-pack format provides enough toner for one complete refill cycle.

Refill capacity and print coverage

Each refill targets the standard 5% page coverage rating used for the original 11A cartridge yield. Users can expect comparable page output per fill, with print density maintained across text and simple graphics. The kit supports up to three refill cycles per cartridge before mechanical wear on the drum or developer roller typically requires a full replacement.

Upgrade from single-use cartridges

Switching from disposable OEM cartridges to this refill kit cuts per-page cost by roughly 50% while keeping the same hardware in service. The jump is worthwhile for departments printing several thousand pages a month and able to perform the straightforward refill procedure. It is not suited for environments that require sealed, factory-filled units for compliance or warranty reasons.

Questions about this item

Will the 11A refill toner work in my HP LaserJet 2420dn alongside the original drum unit?

The refill kit is formulated for the Q6511A cartridge used in the 2420 series, so it will function with the existing drum and other printer components.

How can I confirm the refill is performing correctly after I reinstall the cartridge?

Print a test page at 5% coverage and check for solid black density, even background and no streaks across the page.

Does the box include a replacement chip or just the toner powder and tools?

The kit supplies black toner powder and the necessary refill tools; a new chip is not included, so the original cartridge chip must be reused.
