Compatible Konica Minolta Models

This black toner refill kit is designed for the Konica Minolta 7450, 7500 and 7550 printers. It supplies fresh toner and a reset chip for users who prefer to refill their existing cartridges rather than buy new ones.

Reset Chip Included

The kit provides a reset chip that matches the 8938-629 specification so the printer recognises the refilled cartridge. Without this chip the device will continue to report the cartridge as empty.

Straightforward Refill Process

Refilling involves opening the cartridge hopper, pouring the supplied toner and fitting the new chip. The main risk is toner spillage if the hopper is not sealed cleanly, and a mismatched chip will prevent the printer from accepting the cartridge.

Questions about this item

What does the 5 % coverage figure mean for actual page yield?

It is the industry standard test page — roughly one paragraph of text per page — so a full page of graphics or dense text will use more toner and reduce the total count.

Does the reset chip work with the Konica Minolta 7450 7500 7550 models listed?

Yes, the chip is designed to reset the toner counter on each of those compatible models so the printer recognises the refilled cartridge.

What do I need to open or access inside the printer to use this refill kit?

You will need to remove the existing black toner cartridge from the Konica Minolta machine and have a clean workspace for pouring the toner and fitting the supplied chip.
