What this product is and who it is for

This two-pack contains Laser Tek Services DR-420 compatible drum units built for Brother laser printers including the HL-2130, HL-2240D, HL-2270DW, MFC-7460DN, MFC-7860DW and DCP-7065DN models. It suits home offices and small businesses that want a lower-cost alternative to original drums while keeping print quality consistent across high-volume jobs.

Capacity and headroom

Each drum is rated for approximately 12000 pages at 5% coverage, so the pair delivers enough life to outlast several toner cartridge changes. Heavy graphics or dense text will reduce the usable page count, and the drum will eventually show wear such as streaks or fading once the photoconductor surface reaches its limit.

Practical limits of the interface

The units only fit the Brother models listed above; they will not work in printers that require a different drum frame or gear layout. Buyers with incompatible Brother series or other brands must source the correct drum for their specific machine.

Questions about this item

Will the DR-420 drum unit work with my Brother HL-2270DW and existing toner cartridges?

Yes, the DR-420 is compatible with the HL-2270DW and designed to work with standard toner cartridges for that printer series.

How can I confirm the drum unit is functioning correctly after installation?

Print a test page; the drum should deliver crisp, clear output for up to 12000 pages at 5% coverage without quality degradation.

Does the 2-pack include toner cartridges or only the drum units?

The pack contains two DR-420 drum units only; toner cartridges must be purchased separately.
