Kit contents and purpose

This four-pack refill kit from Laser Tek Services provides black toner powder and tools to refill empty HP CE255X and CE255A cartridges. It is designed for owners of HP LaserJet P3010, P3015, P3015d, P3015dn and P3015X printers who want to reuse their existing cartridges instead of buying new ones.

Who this suits and who it does not

The kit suits users comfortable with a hands-on refill process and who want to lower cost per page and reduce cartridge waste. It is not for buyers who need a ready-to-install cartridge, who require guaranteed page-yield certification, or who prefer not to handle loose toner powder.

Capacity and headroom

Each refill is rated at five-percent coverage, matching the standard yield measurement used for the 55X and 55A cartridges. The kit supports up to three refill cycles per cartridge, after which print quality may decline and a replacement cartridge becomes necessary.

Questions about this item

Do I need an empty HP CE255X or CE255A cartridge to use this refill kit?

Yes, the kit is designed to refill used CE255X (55X) and CE255A (55A) cartridges; you must supply the empty cartridge shell yourself.

Will refilling my original HP 55X cartridge with this toner work in my older HP LaserJet P3010 printer?

The toner is compatible with the full P3010, P3015, P3015d, P3015dn and P3015X series, so a refilled cartridge will function in the older P3010 model.

How can I verify the refilled cartridge is printing correctly after I install it?

Print a test page and check for sharp, consistent black text at the standard 5% coverage; the kit is engineered for reliable output across multiple refills.
