Yellow toner refill kit for 309A cartridges

This refill kit supplies yellow toner and a reset chip for HP Q2672A cartridges used in Color LaserJet 3500, 3550 and 3700 series printers. It is designed for users who want to reuse an existing cartridge rather than purchase a new one. The package includes toner and step-by-step instructions for a single refill.

Practical limits of a refill kit

The toner is rated at five percent page coverage, so actual yield will vary with document density. Each cartridge can typically be refilled up to three times before mechanical wear affects print quality. The kit does not replace worn drums, rollers or other internal components that degrade with extended use.

Reset chip determines printer recognition

The included reset chip allows the printer to recognise the refilled cartridge as full. Without a functioning chip the printer will continue to report low toner and may stop printing. Buyers who need a brand-new cartridge with fresh internal parts should purchase an OEM or compatible replacement instead.
