Quiet 3-speed pedestal fan

The Lasko 2521 is a 16-inch pedestal fan with three quiet, energy-efficient speed settings. Its 3-paddle blade delivers powerful airflow for bedrooms, kitchens, offices or classrooms. Height adjusts from 34 to 47 inches and the tilt-back head directs air precisely. No-tool assembly gets it running in minutes.

Wide oscillation for full-room coverage

The widespread oscillation circulates air across the entire space, making it suit open-plan areas or rooms where fixed-direction fans leave dead zones. Buyers who need remote control, a timer function or bladeless design will not find those features here. The 10.7 kg weight provides stability but limits frequent repositioning.

16-inch blade diameter

The 16-inch blade is the single specification that determines how much air this fan moves. It defines the cooling reach for desks, beds or workstations. If the room demands a larger blade span or a smaller desktop footprint, a different fan size is required.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 16-inch, 3-paddle blade on the highest of the three speeds when the fan runs all day?

The manufacturer describes the three speeds as quiet and energy-efficient, so the 16-inch blade on the highest setting remains at a low noise level suitable for continuous operation in bedrooms or offices.

Does the pedestal arrive fully assembled or will I need tools to put the adjustable 34-to-47-inch stand together?

The unit features simple no-tools assembly, so you can set up the height-adjustable stand and attach the fan head without any additional equipment.

Will the tilt-back head and widespread oscillation still circulate air effectively if I place the fan behind a low sofa or desk?

Yes, the tilt-back fan head directs airflow upward and the wide-angle oscillation covers the full room, so circulation works even when the base sits behind furniture.
