Adjustable Height Pedestal Fan

The Lasko 1843 is an 18-inch pedestal fan designed for residential use in bedrooms, living rooms and home offices. Its height adjusts from 41 to 54 inches so the airflow can be positioned at seated or standing level. Three quiet, energy-efficient speeds provide a choice of airflow intensity. The unit weighs 12.25 lbs and measures 53.50 inches tall with a 20.50-inch square footprint.

Placement and Assembly

No tools are required for assembly, allowing quick setup on any level floor surface. The tilt-back fan head directs air upward or downward without moving the base. Widespread oscillation distributes air across the whole room rather than a single spot. A built-in carry handle makes it easy to relocate the fan between rooms as needed. The Blue Plug safety fuse cuts power automatically if an electrical fault is detected.

Remote Control and Timer

A handheld remote lets you change speed, start oscillation or activate the timer from across the room. The timer runs for up to 4 hours before switching the fan off automatically, which is useful for bedtime cooling. The remote stores in a dedicated holder on the fan body so it stays within reach. ETL listing confirms the product meets recognised North American safety standards.
