20-Inch Box Fan for Home Cooling

The Lasko 3733 is a 20-inch box fan designed for residential air circulation. It offers three whisper-quiet speed settings controlled by a top-mounted knob. The lightweight construction includes a carry handle for moving the unit between rooms. It is UL and ETL listed for safety compliance.

Check Power Supply and Placement

Ensure a standard 120V household outlet is accessible where the fan will sit. The unit measures approximately 23 inches high, 22 inches wide and 5 inches deep, so confirm the windowsill or floor space accommodates that footprint. No assembly or special wiring is required beyond plugging it in.

Fits Window or Floor Setups

The slim profile suits smaller rooms and standard window openings for intake or exhaust airflow. Three speed options let you match output to the temperature without drawing high power. The integrated handle frees up both hands when repositioning the fan for day or night use.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is anything else needed to start using the fan?

The box contains the assembled 20 inch fan with its top mounted speed knob and integrated carry handle. It plugs directly into a 120V outlet so no extra parts are required.

How do the three speed settings differ and which one should I pick?

The knob offers three distinct airflow levels from low to high. Choose low for quiet background circulation, medium for steady cooling, or high for maximum air movement on the hottest days.

What does the 20 inch blade size mean for actual cooling in a room?

The 20 inch blades move a high volume of air across the space while the unit draws little power. It is sized to fit a standard window opening or sit on the floor in a bedroom or living area.
