48-inch tower fan for bedrooms and offices

The Lasko T48314 is a 48-inch tower fan designed for bedrooms, offices and similar living spaces. It delivers three speed settings with widespread oscillation to circulate air across the room. The bladeless construction keeps the profile slim and the operation quiet. Simple base assembly is required before use.

Remote control, timer and nighttime mode

A multi-function remote control is included and stores on the fan body for easy access. The 7-hour auto-off timer lets the unit run for a set period before shutting down to save energy. Nighttime mode automatically lowers the fan speed and dims the control lights for less disturbance during sleep. These features adjust the fan’s behaviour without adding extra hardware.

ETL listed safety with Blue Plug technology

The fan carries an ETL listing and incorporates Blue Plug technology for electrical safety. This certification is the key specification that confirms the product meets recognised safety standards for household appliances. Buyers who require a fan without this specific safety marking should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the motor or oscillation mechanism need lubrication or replacement parts over time?

The unit uses a sealed motor and gear-driven oscillation with no user-serviceable bearings, so no routine lubrication is required.

What stops me from running the fan continuously beyond the timer limit?

The built-in timer only allows a maximum of 7 hours per cycle; after that the fan shuts off and must be restarted manually.

How much heat does the base add to a small room after running all night?

The motor draws only household fan wattage, so the base stays at near-room temperature even after extended use.
