Exact replacement for Acer 5745-5981

This LCDBros panel is built as a direct drop-in replacement for the Acer Aspire 5745-5981 laptop. It arrives new with a 40-pin connector that matches the original cable routing. Installers also receive the basic tools needed to complete the swap without sourcing extra hardware.

1366x768 glossy LED panel

The screen delivers a native 1366x768 resolution on a glossy LED backlight, reproducing the exact pixel count and surface finish of the factory display. Colour and brightness behave as the original specification dictates. A panel with any other resolution, backlight type or pin count will not function in this chassis.

Replaces cracked or dim original displays

This unit restores a laptop suffering from a shattered glass, dead backlight or persistent image retention. The jump is worth it when the chassis and motherboard remain sound but the picture is unusable. Buyers needing a higher resolution, a matte finish or a different diagonal cannot use this part.

Questions about this item

Will this 40-pin 1366x768 panel work with the original cable and hinges on my Acer Aspire 5745-5981?

Yes, it is built to match the factory resolution, backlight and pin layout for that exact model, so the existing video cable and mounting points line up without adapters.

How can I verify the replacement screen is functioning correctly once installed?

Power on the laptop; the display should show the native 1366x768 image with even backlighting, no dead pixels, and the correct colour balance across the whole panel.

Which tools and extra parts come in the package versus what I must source myself?

The kit includes the LCD panel and a basic tool set for removal and installation; you only need to provide the laptop itself and a clean workspace.
