Exact Model Match

This replacement screen is built for the Gateway GWTN156-2 laptop and ships with tools and adhesive tape for installation. It delivers a 1920x1080 FHD resolution on a 156 mm diagonal panel with a matte finish. The 40-pin connector ensures a direct fit when the original specifications match exactly.

Compatibility Focus

It suits owners of a Gateway GWTN156-2 who have confirmed their current screen uses a 40-pin interface, FHD resolution, and matte LED backlight. Buyers who cannot verify those exact specifications or who need a different pin count, resolution, or surface coating should look elsewhere.

40-Pin Connector Decides Fit

The single specification that determines whether this part will work is the 40-pin video connector on your existing panel. If your current screen uses a different pin layout, this unit will not connect regardless of matching size or resolution.

How do I confirm the 1920x1080 replacement screen is working correctly after installation?

Power on the laptop and verify the display shows a stable 1920x1080 image at 100% brightness with no dead pixels, flickering or colour distortion across the full 156 panel area.

What components are included with this LCDBros kit and what must I source separately?

The kit includes the 40-pin matte LED LCD panel, opening tools and adhesive tape. You must provide a compatible Gateway GWTN156-2 chassis and any additional mounting brackets or cables not reused from the original assembly.

Which screen version should I select to match my Gateway GWTN156-2 exactly?

Choose the 1920x1080 FHD 40-pin matte LED variant; the listing states you must match resolution, backlight and size precisely, and this is the only specification combination offered for the GWTN156-2 model.
