Questions about this item

How do I install the ERC-38P ribbon cartridge and what step is often missed?

Open the printer cover, remove the old cartridge, insert the new ERC-38P until it clicks, then advance the ribbon manually using the knob to remove slack before closing the cover.

What maintenance or replacement will these purple ribbon cartridges need over time?

Each cartridge is a single-use ribbon; when print fades or becomes patchy, replace the entire cartridge — no re-inking or partial servicing is possible.

What limit appears first during sustained printing with these ERC-38P ribbons?

The ribbon ink depletes after extended high-volume use, causing faded or incomplete characters; at that point the cartridge must be replaced.
