What this is

This pack contains five LD Products remanufactured black ink cartridges built to replace the Epson 277XL T277XL120 high-yield model. Each unit uses dye-based ink and is rated for approximately 500 pages at 5 percent coverage under the ISO/IEC standard. The cartridges are new and intended for use in compatible Expression and XP series printers.

Who it suits

Home and small-office users who print mainly black text on supported Epson Expression XP-850, XP-860, XP-950, XP-960 or XP-970 models will find a lower cost per page with this five-pack. Buyers who need colour output, pigment-based ink, or cartridges for printers sold outside the United States and Canada should look at other options.

Deciding specification

The decisive figure is the 500-page yield per cartridge at 5 percent coverage. If your typical print volume matches that rating, the pack delivers the expected volume; if you regularly exceed it, you will replace cartridges more often than the rating suggests.
