LD Products Q5942A MICR Toner

This remanufactured MICR toner cartridge replaces the HP 42A (Q5942A) for HP LaserJet 4240, 4250 and 4350 series printers. It delivers black magnetic ink character recognition output required for cheque processing and secure financial documents. The cartridge is supplied new from LD Products with a two-year satisfaction guarantee.

Who should buy this cartridge

Businesses and offices printing cheques or MICR-encoded documents on the listed HP LaserJet models will obtain the required magnetic toner formulation. Environments that do not need magnetic character recognition, or printers outside the 4240, 4250 and 4350 families, should select a standard black toner instead.

The deciding specification

MICR magnetic toner formulation is the single attribute that determines suitability; only cartridges with this formulation produce machine-readable cheque lines that banks accept.
