LD Remanufactured MICR Toner for HP 43X

This remanufactured black toner cartridge replaces the HP C8543X (43X) for compatible HP LaserJet 9000, 9040, 9050 and M9040/M9050 MFP series printers. It is specifically engineered for MICR printing, using iron-infused toner that allows checks to be read by bank scanning systems. The cartridge is built for businesses and financial offices that produce their own secure cheques in-house.

30,000-page yield under ISO 19752 testing

The cartridge delivers an average yield of 30,000 pages at 5 % coverage per ISO/IEC 19752, reflecting sustained output across a full duty cycle rather than a short test burst. It contains up to 85 % new components including wiper blades and OPC drums, as the unit is fully disassembled and rebuilt rather than simply refilled. Store in a cool, dry place and use within three years for optimal performance.

Direct drop-in installation for listed HP models

Installation follows the standard HP 43X cartridge swap procedure for the supported LaserJet and MFP devices; no extra hardware or firmware steps are required. The most common issue is inserting the cartridge before removing all sealing tape, which can cause streaks or light print on the first few cheques. If print quality issues appear, contact the supplier before returning the unit.

Questions about this item

Does the remanufactured cartridge run hotter or draw more power than the original HP 43X during long print runs?

The cartridge is a passive toner supply; it adds no heat or power draw beyond what the HP LaserJet 9000 series printer itself requires.

Must I already own a compatible HP LaserJet such as the 9000, 9040, 9050 or M9040 MFP for this cartridge to work?

Yes — it fits the listed HP LaserJet 9000, 9040, 9050 and M9040/M9050 MFP models as a direct replacement for the C8543X.

Will the iron-based MICR toner work reliably in an older HP 9000 printer that has printed standard toner for years?

The MICR formulation is engineered for the same HP 43X engine used in the 9000 series, so it functions correctly alongside any residual standard toner in the printer.
