Yellow toner for Kyocera TASKalfa and FS printers

This compatible cartridge replaces the Kyocera-Mita TK-897Y yellow toner. It is designed for the TASKalfa 205c, 255, 255c, FS-C8520MFP, and FS-C8525MFP models. Offices needing colour output on these specific devices can use this aftermarket option.

Consistent yield across long print runs

The toner formulation maintains stable density during extended jobs rather than fading after the first few hundred pages. Page-to-page colour balance stays uniform throughout the rated life. Large batches finish without the need to shake or reseat the cartridge.

Mechanical fit limits interchangeability

The cartridge keying matches only the printers listed in the compatibility set. Inserting it into other Kyocera models will cause a recognition error or physical blockage. Buyers with mixed fleets must verify each model number before ordering.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the TK-897Y generate when the printer runs continuously?

The toner cartridge itself has no moving parts and produces no heat or noise; all sound and warmth come from the Kyocera-Mita printer mechanism.

Which Kyocera-Mita printers must I already own for this yellow cartridge to work?

It fits the TASKalfa 205c, 255, 255c, FS-C8520MFP and FS-C8525MFP models listed in the compatibility data.

Will the TK-897Y work alongside older Kyocera-Mita toner cartridges still in my printer?

Yes, it is a direct replacement for the original TK-597 yellow cartridge and functions with any remaining genuine or compatible colours already installed.
