The cords support up to 3 A at 5 V and data transfer at 480 Mbps.

Who Should Buy

Drivers who want a reliable CarPlay link in the car and a longer cable for desk or bedside charging will appreciate the dual lengths. The 15,000-bend rating and 220 lb tensile strength suit daily plugging and unplugging. Buyers who need USB-C to USB-C connectivity or Power Delivery above 15 W should look elsewhere.

Deciding Specification

The male USB-A to male USB-C connector pair is the single detail that determines fit; it plugs into a standard USB-A port on a vehicle or charger and into the USB-C port on the phone or tablet.
