The Lee Filters LEE85 is an 85x115mm resin filter that reduces exposure by .3 (1 stop) across a soft graduated transition. It is intended for landscape photographers who need to balance bright skies with darker foregrounds when no hard horizon line exists.
Effect in Use
The soft gradation suits scenes such as woodland, mist or interiors where the transition between light and dark areas is gradual. The graduated neutral density darkens only part of the frame without shifting colour balance. A grip tab on the filter edge expands the usable viewing area and helps keep fingerprints off the optical zone.
Build and Handling
