Professional Diffusion Sheet

This 24x21" Lee Filters white diffusion sheet softens harsh light and reduces shadows for photography and video work. The material delivers smooth, even illumination with minimal colour shift to preserve natural subject tones. It is built from durable materials to withstand frequent studio use. Photographers and videographers use it to create flattering, professional-quality lighting.

Replacing Improvised Diffusion

This sheet replaces makeshift materials such as tracing paper or fabric that produce uneven results and unpredictable colour casts. The upgrade is worth it when consistent diffusion and accurate colour rendition are required for professional output. The large 24x21" format covers broad light sources without seams. It can be cut precisely to fit specific modifiers or fixtures.

Studio and Location Shooters

This filter suits photographers and videographers who need reliable, neutral diffusion for portraits, still life or cinematic scenes. It fits workflows that demand a balance between softening effect and light transmission. Buyers needing coloured gels, heavy frost effects or rigid panel diffusion should look at specialised alternatives. Those requiring smaller pre-cut sizes may prefer a different format.

How do I attach the diffusion sheet without damaging it?

Cut the sheet to size with sharp scissors or a rotary cutter, then secure the edges with heat-resistant tape or clips; avoid staples or adhesives that can melt under hot lights.

When should I replace the diffusion sheet?
