1-1/4" T-578 Dielectric Coupling

This new dielectric coupling separates dissimilar metals in plumbing systems to reduce galvanic corrosion. It is designed for installers and maintenance teams working on potable water or hydronic lines where electrolysis protection is required. The 1-1/4 inch connection fits standard threaded pipe of that size.

California Proposition 65 Notices

The product carries two Proposition 65 warnings for chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. These notices do not alter the mechanical function of the coupling but inform handlers about material content. No additional accessories, sealants or software are bundled with the fitting.

Capacity and Service Limits

The coupling joins 1-1/4 inch threaded pipe in typical residential and light commercial water systems. It handles normal pressure and temperature ranges for dielectric unions of this class. It is not intended for gas service, steam lines or applications exceeding the pressure rating of the connected piping. Buyers needing larger diameters, flanged ends or certified lead-free markings must select a different model.
