1" No-Lead Bronze Insert Coupling

This 1-inch no-lead bronze insert coupling joins tubing or pipe in potable-water systems. It is built for plumbing professionals and DIY installers who need a compliant fitting for drinking-water lines. The no-lead bronze body meets low-lead requirements for safe water contact.

California Proposition 65 notice

The product carries a Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. This disclosure does not change the fitting's mechanical function but informs buyers of the regulatory labelling requirement. No additional accessories or software are included with the coupling.

Installation notes

The coupling installs by inserting the tubing or pipe ends into the bronze body and securing them with appropriate clamps or crimp rings for the chosen tubing type. Common issues include using undersized clamps, failing to fully seat the tubing, or mixing incompatible tubing materials that can leak under pressure.

Questions about this item

Will the bronze coupling need replacement due to corrosion or mineral buildup over time?

Bronze resists corrosion well in typical plumbing use, so the coupling itself rarely requires scheduled replacement.

What is the first limitation that appears when the fitting is under continuous pressure?

The joint's seal relies on proper installation and the tubing's pressure rating; sustained pressure beyond the tubing limit will show as leaks first.

Does the fitting generate any noise, heat or power draw when water runs through it all day?

As a passive bronze component it produces no noise, no heat and draws no power during normal water flow.
