The fitting contains a chemical listed under California Proposition 65 as known to cause cancer and reproductive harm, so installers should follow safe-handling practices.

Copper sweat interface limits

The tee uses C x C x C sweat connections with inside diameters of 1-1/2", 1-1/4" and 3/4" and corresponding outside diameters of 1-5/8", 1-3/8" and 7/8". It cannot join dissimilar metals directly and requires proper flux, solder and torch technique. Installers needing press-fit, push-fit or threaded ends must choose a different fitting type.
