High-Capacity Air Vent

The Legend Valve 800-244 is a high-capacity air vent designed for use with the M-8220 8440 system. It removes trapped air from hydronic heating installations to maintain efficient circulation. This new accessory suits heating engineers and maintenance technicians servicing compatible boiler or radiator setups.

M-8220 8440 Compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the designated pairing with the M-8220 8440 unit. The vent is manufactured to match that specific model, so it cannot be used on other air vent connections or different equipment series. Verify the exact model number on the existing hardware before ordering.

System Integration

The vent threads into the air release port on the M-8220 8440 body, requiring no additional adapters or special tools for installation. It frees the system from air locks that reduce heat output and cause noisy operation. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to chemicals present in the component materials.
