Compatible Valve Models

The Legend Valve 800-853 replacement thermometer fits M-8000, M-8100 and M-8200 integrated adapter isolation valves. It restores temperature indication on those specific valve assemblies without modification. The part is supplied new and ready for direct installation.

Installers and System Type

This thermometer suits technicians maintaining hydronic systems that use the listed Legend Valve models. It does not fit other valve brands or adapter styles, so buyers with different isolation hardware should verify compatibility before ordering. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for cancer and reproductive harm.

Model Number Match

The single specification that decides fit is the exact valve model number: M-8000, M-8100 or M-8200. If the installed valve carries one of those designations, this thermometer is the correct replacement.

Questions about this item

Will the Legend Valve 800-853 thermometer fit my existing M-8000 integrated adapter isolation valve?

Yes, the 800-853 is designed as a direct replacement thermometer for the M-8000, M-8100 and M-8200 integrated adapter isolation valves.

How can I verify the thermometer is reading correctly once installed?

Compare the displayed temperature against a known reference thermometer on the same hydronic loop; the reading should track the system temperature within normal gauge tolerance.

Does the package include the isolation valve body or only the thermometer?

The 800-853 is the replacement thermometer only; the integrated adapter isolation valve body must be purchased separately if you do not already have an M-8000, M-8100 or M-8200 unit installed.
