1-1/2" Press Adapter Pair

This Legend Valve 800-877LP adapter pair connects to Body C using a 1-1/2" press connection. It suits HVAC installers fitting LegendConnect systems in hydronic heating or cooling circuits. The fittings arrive new and ready for professional assembly.

California Proposition 65 notice

The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm. No thermal, noise or electrical power characteristics apply to these passive press fittings. They operate within the pressure and temperature limits of the piping system.

Replaces threaded or solder joints

The press pair replaces traditional threaded or soldered transitions on Body C manifolds. The upgrade is worth it when installation speed and flameless joints are priorities on site. It does not suit systems requiring a different connection size or press profile.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1-1/2" LegendPress adapter pair onto a Body C fitting?

Use a compatible press tool to compress the adapter onto the tube until the tool completes its full cycle; the step often missed is verifying the press indicator ring is fully seated before pressurising the system.

What maintenance or replacement will the 800-877LP adapter pair need over time?

Inspect the pressed joints annually for corrosion or leakage; the adapters themselves are not serviceable and must be replaced if the press seal shows any sign of degradation.

What is the first limit reached under sustained use of the LegendConnect 1-1/2" press adapter?

The pressed joint’s seal integrity is the primary limit; prolonged thermal cycling and pressure fluctuations can fatigue the connection before the fitting body shows wear.
