1/72 Scale Curtiss P-40B/C Warhawk

This 1/72 scale diecast model replicates the Curtiss P-40B/C Warhawk flown by the 1st American Volunteer Group in 1942. It is produced by Legion Supplies for adult collectors and military history enthusiasts. The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Diecast metal construction with display stand

The airframe uses diecast metal with some plastic parts, giving it a heavy, realistic feel and durable finish. Realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels and surface details provide an authentic representation. A display stand is included for shelf or desk presentation.

Fixed-pose model with no moving parts

This model does not have any openings, so landing gear, canopy and control surfaces remain in a fixed position. Collectors who want functional features such as retractable gear or an open cockpit should consider a different subject.

Questions about this item

What scale is this diecast model and how does it translate to real-world size?

The model is built to 1/72 scale, meaning every 72 inches on the actual 1942 Curtiss P-40B/C Warhawk equals one inch on this replica.

What are the exact length and wingspan measurements I need for display space?

This model measures approximately 5.5 inches in length and 6.25 inches in wingspan, so allow at least that much clearance on your shelf or cabinet.

Does the model require assembly or can I place it on the included stand immediately?

It arrives fully assembled in the unopened box; simply remove it and set it on the supplied display stand — no glue, screws or painting are needed.
