Scale and Subject

This 1/100 scale diecast model replicates the Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker-B wearing the "Red 36" markings of the 941st Fighter Aviation Regiment from 1987. It is made for adult collectors and military-aviation enthusiasts who value accurate scale representation. The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Construction and Display

The airframe uses diecast metal with plastic parts to give a heavy, realistic feel and durable finish. Realistic panel lines, antennas and access panels cover the detailed exterior, though the model has no openings. A display stand is included for shelf or desk presentation.

Decisive Specification

The 1/100 scale fixes the model at approximately 8.75 inches long with a 5.75-inch wingspan, determining whether it fits your available display space and matches the scale of an existing collection.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the 1/100 scale Su-27 Flanker-B on its included display stand without stressing the landing gear?

Place the model gently onto the stand's cradle so the fuselage weight rests on the stand rather than the gear; the diecast metal body is heavy and the gear doors are fixed closed.

Will the painted "Red 36" markings on this 941st Fighter Aviation Regiment model fade or chip over time?

The tampo-printed insignia on the diecast surface resists normal handling; keep the model out of direct sunlight and dust it with a soft brush to preserve the finish.

At what point does the 8.75-inch length and 5.75-inch wingspan make this Flanker-B too large for a standard desktop shelf?

The wingspan of 5.75 inches usually fits a 6-inch deep shelf, but allow extra clearance for the stand base and any adjacent models.
