1/72 Scale VF-17 Corsair Model

This 1/72 scale diecast model reproduces the Vought F4U-1A Corsair flown by VF-17 "Jolly Rogers" in 1943. It is aimed at adult collectors and military-history enthusiasts who want an accurate, display-ready replica. The officially licensed product arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Diecast Construction With Display Stand

The airframe uses diecast metal with plastic parts to give a heavy, realistic feel and durable finish. Realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels and surface details cover the sealed exterior, which has no openings. A display stand is included so the model can be shown straight from the box.

Upgrade From Smaller-Scale Or Plastic Kits

Collectors moving up from smaller-scale or all-plastic kits gain the weight and metal fidelity of a 1/72 diecast replica. The jump is worth it when you want a pre-finished, historically marked aircraft that needs no assembly or painting.
