Scale and Subject

This 1/72 scale diecast model replicates the ZIL-131 3.5-ton 6x6 cargo truck used by the Ukrainian Ground Forces. It is made of diecast metal with plastic parts and features real rubber tires. The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging and is marketed as a limited edition collectible for adult hobbyists and military history enthusiasts.

Upgrade Path

The model replaces earlier ZIL-131 releases that lacked the specific Ukrainian Ground Forces green livery with white stripes and official licensing. Collectors focused on modern Eastern European military equipment will find the jump worthwhile for the accurate markings and detailed exterior. Buyers seeking vehicles from other nations or different conflict eras should look elsewhere.

Installation Notes

No assembly is required; the model is ready for display directly from the box. The diecast construction provides a heavy, realistic feel but the small 1.5 inch width means delicate details like mirrors or antennae can bend if handled roughly. Keep the original packaging for safe storage to prevent damage to the tires or paintwork.

Questions about this item

How much display space does the 1/72 scale ZIL-131 truck need?

The model measures approximately 3.75 inches long, 1.5 inches wide and 1.625 inches high, so a small shelf or cabinet space of about four by two inches is sufficient.

What is the correct way to remove the model from its packaging without damaging the real rubber tires?

Open the box carefully, lift the truck by its diecast metal chassis rather than the tires, and avoid bending the plastic details on the cargo bed.

Will the paint or decals on this limited-edition Ukrainian Ground Forces version fade or need touch-up over time?

The factory-applied finish on the diecast metal and plastic parts is durable; keep the model out of direct sunlight and dust it gently to preserve the green and white markings.
