Five-cable HDMI 2.0 kit

This five-pack supplies ten-foot HDMI cables rated for 18 Gbps bandwidth and 4K resolution at 60 Hz. Each cable carries video up to 2160p with 4:4:4 chroma, 48-bit deep colour, HDR and 3D, plus multichannel audio including Dolby TrueHD 7.1. The set suits home-theatre installs, multi-monitor desks or any scenario needing several identical runs.

Locking heads and braided jacket

A patented locking head with retractable clips resists nearly eight pounds of withdrawal force, keeping connections secure after thousands of insertions. Triple-shielded 28 AWG pure-copper conductors and gold-plated, corrosion-resistant jacks sit inside a soft, pliable nylon braid that routes cleanly behind equipment racks or along skirting boards.

Check port version and device limits

Verify that every source and display in the chain supports HDMI 2.0b or earlier; the cables are backwards compatible with 1.4, 1.3 and 1.2 but cannot deliver features that require newer specifications. Confirm each device has a standard Type-A HDMI socket and that ten feet reaches between components without tension on the locking clips.

Questions about this item

What does the HDMI 2.0 interface limit this cable to in practice?

The HDMI 2.0 interface caps this cable at 18 Gbps bandwidth, supporting 4K at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, HDR, and Dolby True HD 7.1 audio.

What physical clearance does the locking head need to fit?

The patented locking head uses retractable smart clips that engage inside standard HDMI ports, requiring no extra clearance beyond the port itself.

How is the locking head installed, and what step do people miss?

Insert the connector fully until the clips click into the port; the step often missed is pushing past the initial resistance so the clips fully retract and lock.
