Questions about this item

How do I attach the lenticular screens so they flip correctly?

The lenticular screens slot into the front frame after the button panel is built; the tabs on each screen must face outward or the image will not switch between the game view and the Nintendo start screen.

Which parts are most likely to loosen after repeated handling?

The +Control Pad, SELECT, START, A and B buttons and the Game Pak slot see the most movement; their clip connections can loosen over time and may need a firm press to reseat.

At what point does the display stand become unstable if I keep swapping Game Paks?

The stand is a single brick-built base measuring 11.5 inches wide; it remains stable for normal swapping, but frequent removal and insertion of the 421-piece Game Boy can stress the stand’s connection points first.
