Legrand 36467402 In-Wall Speaker Brackets

The Legrand 36467402 brackets mount 6.5 in-wall speakers securely during construction. Each pack supplies four brackets across two pairs for multi-room audio layouts. Shatter-resistant aluminum wings and an EZ-alignment slot simplify positioning between studs. Integrated pre-wiring loops keep cables clear of drywall cuts.

For Pre-Construction Audio Installers

Electricians and integrators running speaker cable before drywall will appreciate the center markings and adjustment channel. The brackets suit residential On-Q systems where consistent alignment matters. Installers needing retrofit brackets for finished walls or brackets sized for other speaker diameters should look at something else.

6.5-Inch Speaker Compatibility

These brackets are built specifically for 6.5 in-wall speakers and will not fit larger or smaller driver sizes. Verifying the speaker cut-out dimension matches 6.5 inches is the single check that confirms the part will work.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 4-bracket pack or a 2-bracket pair for my 6.5 in-wall speakers?

The 36467402 case pack supplies four brackets — two complete pairs — so one pack covers two 6.5 in-wall speakers and avoids buying separate pairs.

How do the shatter-proof aluminum wings and pre-wiring loops help during a real installation?

The aluminum wings resist cracking while the integrated adjustment channel and pre-wiring loops keep speaker wire accessible and clear of the drywall saw.

Does the EZ-Alignment slot work with standard residential framing spacing?

The center markings on each bracket align with typical residential device spacing, letting you line up the 6.5 speaker cut-out with other ceiling fixtures.
