Legrand L530CGCM Locking Connector L5-30R 15A 125V Three Phase 2 Pole

Legrand L5-30R Locking Connector

The Legrand L530CGCM is a straight‑body locking connector built to the NEMA L5‑30R configuration. It accepts three‑wire cables from 0.385 in to 0.69 in diameter and provides a grounded 2‑pole, 3‑wire connection rated for 15 A at 125 V AC three‑phase power. The nylon housing in black and white resists chemicals and impact for demanding commercial or industrial wiring jobs.

NEMA L5‑30R Configuration Match

The single specification that decides fit is the NEMA L5‑30R receptacle configuration. This connector only mates with a matching L5‑30P plug, so the installer must confirm the mating device carries the same NEMA code before purchase.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a passive wiring device the connector generates no audible noise and draws no power of its own. Under normal load the brass contacts and nylon housing remain at ambient temperature provided the 15 A rating is not exceeded. Proper torque on the terminal screws and cable clamp ensures low contact resistance and safe thermal performance.
