What the product is and who it is for

The Leipan HM020B-LP is a 12 pack of blue handheld digital microscopes designed for children. Each unit offers 100X magnification with a 4X digital zoom and dual LCD screens. The ergonomic fiberglass body and soft grip suit small hands for comfortable extended use at home, school or outdoors.

The specification that decides fit

The critical specification is the fixed 100X optical magnification combined with 4X digital zoom. This magnification level targets close observation of text, insects or small objects rather than cellular detail. Buyers needing adjustable optical zoom or higher magnification for laboratory work should look elsewhere.

How it fits into a build

Each microscope runs on an internal lithium ion battery rated at 1.85 watt hours and includes built in memory for photo storage. Three brightness levels adapt the integrated light to different environments. The compact 6.2 in by 2.5 in by 0.7 in container holds all twelve units, requiring no external power or computer connection during use.

How does the lithium-ion power pack limit continuous use?

The 1.85 Wh battery runs the screen, LED light and memory; expect a few hours per charge depending on brightness level.

At 6.2 in long, 2.5 in wide and .7 in thick, the unit slides into most small exterior pockets or pencil cases.
