USB-powered stereo soundbar

The Lenovo 0A36190 connects through a single USB cable that supplies both audio signal and power. Its 2.0 channel layout uses dynamic drivers to deliver stereo output for web broadcasts, multimedia presentations and general desktop listening. The built-in microphone adds voice capture for calls without extra peripherals. Designed to match Lenovo monitors, the black bar measures 15.7 by 4.6 by 2.7 inches and weighs .44 kilograms.

Sustained output at 1000 watts RMS

Each channel is rated at 1000 watts RMS, so the soundbar maintains its rated power during extended sessions rather than only in short bursts. A 70 decibel signal-to-noise ratio keeps background hiss low when the volume is raised for long meetings or streaming. The 4 ohm impedance and 120 volt supply support stable current draw over time. Frequency response reaches 20000 hertz, preserving treble detail during continuous playback.

Upgrade from monitor speakers

This soundbar replaces the integrated speakers found on most monitors, adding a dedicated microphone and higher output without occupying additional desk depth. The jump is worthwhile when built-in audio sounds thin, lacks a mic or cannot reach comfortable volume for group calls. It is not suited for users who need surround sound, sub-bass extension or wireless connectivity.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 15.7-inch Lenovo 0A36190 soundbar need when it runs all day?

The bar measures 15.7 in wide by 4.6 in deep and 2.7 in high, so it fits along the bottom of a monitor without crowding the keyboard.

What does the Lenovo 0A36190 USB soundbar require from the host computer to deliver audio and power?

A single USB-A port supplies both the audio signal and the 1000-watt peak power, so no separate power adapter or audio cable is needed.

Will the Lenovo 0A36190 soundbar work with an older monitor that has no USB port?

The soundbar draws audio and power from a USB-A connection, so the host must provide that port; an older monitor without USB cannot drive it directly.
