Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 Tiny Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 Tiny is a compact business desktop built around an Intel Core i3-4150T processor running at 3.0 GHz with 4 GB of DDR3 1600 memory. It includes a 500 GB hard drive and ships with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit installed. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 handles display output through one VGA and one DisplayPort connection.

Installation and common issues

The Tiny form factor fits into tight spaces and uses a 65 W power supply, so physical installation is straightforward in most office environments. Memory upgrades require DDR3 SO-DIMM modules; using a different DDR generation will not fit. The pre-installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit operating system no longer receives security updates from Microsoft.

Suitable buyers and limitations

This system suits organisations that need a small-footprint PC for legacy Windows 7 applications or basic office tasks such as document editing and web browsing. Buyers who require modern operating system support, more than 4 GB of memory, or faster solid-state storage should consider a different platform. It also lacks discrete graphics for demanding visual workloads.
