ThinkPad T450 14.1″ business laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad T450 is a 14.1-inch Windows 10 Pro notebook built around an Intel Core i5-5300U processor running at 2.30 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR3L memory and a 512 GB SATA solid-state drive. The 14.1″ non-touch display, integrated graphics, webcam and three USB ports complete a configuration aimed at office and mobile productivity.

Suited for everyday office work.

This unit serves well for document editing, web browsing, email and legacy business applications that run on Windows 10 Pro. Buyers who need more than 16 GB of memory, a dedicated graphics processor, a touchscreen or Bluetooth connectivity should look at other models. The Grade B cosmetic condition means visible wear such as small scratches or dents is present.

512 GB SATA SSD determines storage speed

The 2.5″ SATA solid-state drive provides 512 GB of space for the operating system, applications and files while delivering faster boot and load times than a mechanical hard drive. Because the drive uses the SATA interface, its transfer rates are limited to that standard. Verify that your workflow fits within 512 GB and that SATA performance meets your requirements before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will my existing DDR3L memory modules work if I upgrade this ThinkPad T450 later?

The system uses DDR3L SODIMM memory and supports up to 16 GB total, so compatible modules can be added to the single free slot.

How can I verify the Core i5-5300U is running at its 2.30 GHz base speed after I set up Windows 10 Pro?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, and confirm the processor shows a base clock of 2.30 GHz under CPU details.

Does the box contain a SATA 2.5" 512 GB SSD and an AC adapter, or must I buy either separately?

Both the 512 GB SATA 2.5" SSD and the AC adapter are included; nothing extra is required to start working.
