ThinkPad T450 for office work

This refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad T450 is built for office tasks and light multitasking. The Intel Core i5-5300U processor runs at 2.30 GHz with 8 GB of DDR3L memory. A 512 GB SATA SSD provides fast boot times and quiet operation. Windows 10 Home 64-bit comes pre-installed.

Chassis and daily connectivity

The 14.1 inch non-touch display sits in a Grade B chassis that may show minor scratches or small dents. Three USB ports and a single docking connector handle peripherals and desk expansion. Integrated audio with internal speakers and a combined audio jack cover calls and media. A 720p webcam is included for video meetings.

Check before ordering

Verify that Windows 10 Home meets your software requirements before purchase. The system supports up to 16 GB of memory if you plan to upgrade later. Bluetooth is not included, so wireless headsets or mice will need a separate adapter. The AC adapter is supplied with the unit.

Questions about this item

What does the SATA 2.5" interface mean for the 512GB SSD's practical speed?

The drive uses the SATA 2.5" interface, so read and write speeds are limited to the SATA bus maximum.

Will this 14.1" ThinkPad T450 fit in a standard laptop sleeve or docking station?

The 14.1" chassis matches the classic ThinkPad T-series footprint, so it fits standard 14" sleeves and the proprietary docking connector on the bottom.

How is the 8GB DDR3L memory installed, and what slot mistake do buyers make?

The 8GB DDR3L SODIMM occupies one of two slots; the common error is buying a single 16GB stick instead of two 8GB sticks to reach the 16GB maximum.
