ThinkPad T450 refurbished business laptop

This Lenovo ThinkPad T450 is a refurbished 14.1-inch laptop built for office work. It runs an Intel Core i5-5300U at 2.30 GHz with 8 GB of DDR3L memory and a 128 GB SATA SSD. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is installed and a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher upgrade path to Windows 11 Pro exists. Grade B condition means minor cosmetic wear with full function.

Suits mobile workers needing a light ThinkPad

Buyers who want a touchscreen or Bluetooth should look elsewhere because this unit has neither. The 128 GB drive limits users who store large media libraries or many virtual machines. Memory tops out at 16 GB so workloads needing more RAM will require a different system.

128 GB SATA SSD capacity

The single 2.5-inch SATA SSD holds the operating system and files. Its 128 GB capacity decides whether the laptop can handle your workload without external storage. No additional drive bays are mentioned in the specifications.

Questions about this item

Will the 128GB SATA SSD and 8GB DDR3L memory handle an all-day workload without slowing down?

The 128GB SATA SSD provides faster boot and load times than a hard drive, and the 8GB DDR3L memory supports typical business applications throughout the day.

How loud or hot does this T450 get when it runs continuously?

With no moving hard-drive parts the 128GB SATA SSD is silent; the integrated graphics and low-power CPU keep fan noise modest and surface temperatures warm but manageable.

What must I already own to use the docking connector and the three USB ports?

The docking connector works with compatible ThinkPad docks; the three USB ports accept standard USB peripherals such as mice, keyboards, and external drives.
