Refurbished ThinkPad T460 for business users

Suits mobile office work; not for modern gaming

The 8GB of DDR3 memory and integrated graphics handle typical office applications, web browsing and video playback. Buyers who need discrete graphics for gaming, 3D rendering or GPU-accelerated workloads should look at a different class of machine. The non-touch screen and lack of Bluetooth may also limit some peripheral setups.

256GB SATA SSD with 32GB memory ceiling

The 2.5-inch SATA 256GB SSD provides fast boot and load times for the operating system and core programs, with room for documents and media. Memory can be expanded up to 32GB for heavier multitasking, while the single drive bay caps internal storage at one SATA device.

Questions about this item

Does the laptop come with the AC adapter so I can power it immediately?

Yes, an AC adapter is included in the box so you can charge and run the machine straight away.

Can I keep using my DDR3 SODIMM modules if I want to expand the memory beyond the installed 8 GB?

The system uses DDR3 SODIMM memory and supports up to 32 GB total, so existing compatible modules can be added to the free slot.

How can I verify the 256 GB SATA SSD is recognised and set as the boot drive after first power-on?

Open Windows Disk Management or BIOS; the 256 GB SATA drive should appear as the primary boot device with the operating system installed.
