Who this laptop suits

The Lenovo ThinkPad T460 is a 14.0-inch business laptop built for office work and light travel. It ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit, 16GB of DDR3 memory and a 1TB SATA 2.5" SSD. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics card or a touchscreen should look elsewhere.

The spec that decides fit

The processor is an Intel Core i5-6300U running at 2.40GHz with integrated graphics only. This CPU handles typical productivity tasks but cannot drive modern 3D workloads or heavy video rendering. The system supports up to 32 GB of memory if you need more headroom later.

Installing and common issues

The unit arrives as a complete laptop with an AC adapter included so no assembly is required. Because it is a Grade B refurbished device, expect minor cosmetic wear such as small scratches or dents. Verify that Wi-Fi and the webcam function on first boot; Bluetooth is not included.

What interface does the 1 TB SSD use and how does that affect speed?

The 2.5-inch drive connects over SATA, giving fast boot and load times compared to a mechanical hard drive.

Will this 14.0-inch chassis fit in a standard laptop sleeve?
