ThinkPad T15g Gen 1 Mobile Workstation

The Lenovo ThinkPad T15g Gen 1 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built for professionals who need ISV-certified application stability on the move. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a hexa-core Intel Core i7-10850H processor clocked at 2.70 GHz with 16 GB of memory in a single module. A 512 GB SSD provides the primary storage, and the chassis includes an NVIDIA GeForce 2080 with Max-Q Design with 8 GB of graphics memory for GPU-accelerated workloads.

Suits stationary-field engineers.

This system suits engineers and analysts who run certified CAD, simulation or rendering packages and value the 15.6 inch Full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. The four memory slots — one populated, three free — allow expansion up to 128 GB for larger datasets. Buyers who need a sub-2 kg device for daily commuting or who rely on battery-only operation for a full workday should look elsewhere.

Six-core i7-10850H at 2.70 GHz sets compute ceiling

The single specification that decides fit is the Intel Core i7-10850H six-core processor running at 2.70 GHz. It defines the maximum single-thread and multi-thread throughput available for compile jobs, model training or real-time viewport work. If your workload demands higher sustained clock speeds or more cores, this workstation will not meet the requirement.
